Summer, especially in our climate, is very capricious: once served us hot days like in the tropics, and in a moment the downpours and storms.

For our body, such changes in weather and pressure are not good, so we often feel weak, dizzy, we start to sweat more and our hands and feet are swollen.

The fastest way to refresh is to drink a cooled drink that will give us instant relief. But remember that not all will bring relief.

During hot days we should avoid all kinds of sweetened drinks, because they will not bring us a relief, but they will provide us with a huge amount of sugar.

The healthiest thing for our body is water, which has a positive effect on our body. During the heat you should drink about 3 litery of water.

In Arab countries it is very popular to drink black tea with mint and lemon, which is exactly the opposite of how we are accustomed, even though the temperatures are much higher there. The best drinks for us are those at room temperature or just gently chilled. To quench thirst, water does not need to be icy cold. It is even inadequate because our body may get shocked or you can get sore throat.

However, it is well known, that not all of us like to drink water all the time. So below you can fins a few recipes to enrich the taste in a good way, even with the use of sweetened drinks

Non-alcoholic mojito

Ingredients for 2 drinks

  • 1 lime (chopped)
  • 12 leaves of fresh mint (8 cut and 4 whole)
  • 1 teaspoon of honey or cane sugar
  • mineral water
  • sprite
  • crushed ice

Put everything in a tall glass, kneading the cut mint and mixing with the rest of the ingredients. At the end we add the leaves of the mint and the slice of garnish to the garnish.

Raspberry love

Ingredients for 2 drinks

  • 150 g raspberries
  • 250 ml of mineral water
  • ice cubes
  • lime juice

Blend raspberries, water and lime juice together. Add a few raspberries and a slice of lime to the end of the ice cube and to the decoration

Watermelon craziness

Ingredients for 2 drinks

  • 1 kg of watermelon with peel
  • lime juice
  • 100ml of water
  • * In addition, you can add a few drops of stevia
  • ice cubes

Blend all together thoroughly and add ice cubes. For garnish we can use lime slices and mint leaves.

Strawberry fantasy

Ingredients for 2 drinks

  • 150 g of strawberries
  • 250 ml of mineral water
  • ice cubes
  • lime juice

Strawberries, water and lime juice blossom together thoroughly. We add a few sliced strawberries and a slice of lime to the end of the ice cubes and to the decoration
